Dreary day

It has been a dreary cool day on the farm. We got a few very brief showers, but they didn't amount to much. The guys have stayed busy in the fields applying fertilizer and finishing up some new plantings.

This is a picture of my husband, Wayne, and six year old, Dawson, standing in one of the fields that was no till drilled with oats this winter as we were mowing for the first cutting. That stand was about shoulder height on Wayne and he's about 5'8". Sure made a pretty field.

 This is the same field from behind the mower. Lots of grass!!
